01 We don't use cookies

This website sets no cookies. Not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. There is no tracking pixel, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session store, and nothing kept in your browser between visits.

That is also why you have never seen a cookie banner here. We don't ask for your consent to track you because we are not tracking you — a banner would be theatre.

You can check this yourself rather than take our word for it: open your browser's developer tools, look under Storage, and you will find nothing from wearepixit.app.

02 The one thing loaded from elsewhere

Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Google does not set a cookie to do this, but your browser has to ask their servers for the font files, and that request tells Google your IP address and roughly what browser you are using — as it would for any site you visit.

That is the only third party this website contacts. If you follow our Instagram link, you leave for Instagram, and what Meta does once you are there is governed by their rules, not ours.

03 The app is a different thing

This policy is about the website you are reading. The PixIt app is not a website and does not use cookies either, but it does have to remember that you are signed in, and it stores your session on your own device to do it. That is not tracking — it is the difference between an app and a login screen you meet every time you open it.

04 If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything else that stores data in your browser, we will update this page before it goes live, and we will ask your consent where the law requires it. We won't quietly start.
