For working creators
PixIt sends paid photography jobs to your phone. Clients across the UK post shoots with the budget already attached — from £50 to £999,999 — and jobs near you ping you the moment they're posted. Accepting is free, you keep 80% of every job and 100% of tips, and joining costs nothing.
The model
No bidding, no proposals, no buying leads. A client posts a shoot with their budget on it; if it's inside your range, it pings your phone with the price, time and rough location visible. You have 45 seconds to accept — and accepting costs nothing. If several creators accept, the client picks from portfolios.
That last row matters: wherever you are in the UK, advance bookings from the whole country can reach you. Your postcode limits your same-day work, not your career.
Your shop window
Your profile carries up to 10 photos and 3 videos of up to 60 seconds. When a client is choosing between the creators who accepted their job, that's what they see — so it pays to make those ten slots your strongest, most recent work in the styles you actually want to be booked for. There's no paid promotion to buy and no algorithm to feed; portfolios compete on the work.
Verification comes first: every creator proves who they are before taking a single job, which is part of why clients trust budgets to strangers. Progress on the platform runs through tiers, from Bronze upwards, as you complete work.
The money
Every rule above — radiuses, fees, delivery windows — is laid out step by step in how PixIt works.
Questions
You don't search — jobs find you. Clients post shoots with budgets attached, and any job near you pings your phone with the price, time and rough location. You have 45 seconds to accept, free. If the client picks you from the creators who accepted, the job is yours.
You keep 80% of every job you complete, plus 100% of tips. Jobs range from the £50 minimum to £999,999, so a £250 half-day nets you £200 and a £1,500 wedding £1,200. There are no fees to subtract — no subscription, no lead costs, nothing to pay in a quiet month.
No. Same-day jobs ping creators within 10 miles, but the radius grows with notice — up to 400 miles for planned work like weddings. A creator in Nottingham or Glasgow receives advance bookings from across the country; your city only bounds your last-minute work.
The app, proof of who you are, and your work. Every creator is verified before taking jobs, and your profile carries a portfolio of up to 10 photos and 3 videos of up to 60 seconds — that portfolio is what clients choose between, so lead with your strongest recent work.
The client pays when they book and PixIt holds the money — so it's already secured before you lift a camera. When you deliver the edited files through the app, the payment releases and reaches your bank within 2 to 5 working days. Tips arrive the same way, untouched.
